He is survived by: his son Ashton Barendt; his parents, Jerry Barendt and Carol Barendt; his siblings, Laura Kuehn (Bret), Dave Barendt and Kathey True; and his godmother Jacqueline Wilson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
