She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Boender and Rena Boender (DeBoer); her husband Jean Van Oort; her son Philip Van Oort; her granddaughter Hope; and her siblings, Henry Boender, Claude Boender, Rev. John Boender, Lucretia Boender, Adriana Boender and Arlene Ver Hoek.
She is survived by: her children, Norene Buschbach (Dave), Rev. Harlan Van Oort (Pat), Jolene Linenberger (Dean), LuAnne Vander Horst (Keith) and Jennifer Van Oort. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
