He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Waibel and Rachel Waibel; his brother Richard Waibel; his son William "Billy" Waibel; and his wife Delores Waibel.

He is survived by: his sons, Doug Waibel (Lynn) and Alan Waibel; his grandchildren, Will Waibel (Teal), Eli Waibel, Mitch Waibel (Sarah Person), Victoria Burke (Tyler), Isabelle Thomas and Anthony Thomas; his great grandchild Breyer Waibel (Brindle Waibel); and his sister Iris Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Altitude Church of God.
