He was predeceased by: his wife Bunny (Lois Platt); his parents, Ludwig Utzinger and Betty Utzinger; and his sons, Thomas and Timothy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arnold and Marilynn; his son Terry; his daughter-in-law Deborah; his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Barbara; his son Tedd Ann; his daughter-in-law Lee Ann; his grandchildren, Justin Eisenach, Lisa Spears (Scott), Jessica Utzinger, Katie Utzinger, Michael Utzinger, Patrick Utzinger and Claire Utzinger; and his great grandchildren, Jett, Gunner Spears, Astrid and Utz.
He battled Alzheimer's and fought his way back from several dips in his health before succumbing in his sleep.
