He is survived by: his wife Linda Mahaffey of Cortez; his children, Kenneth Mahaffey (Tammy) of Dolores, Greg Mahaffey (Tina) of Yellow Jacket, Tracy Mahaffey (Wayne Keene) of Cortez, Tanis Knuckles (Kent) and Tasha Mahaffey (Daryl Whatcott) of Yellow Jacket; and his brother Joe Mahaffey of Yellow Jacket.
