She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Johnson and Bernice Johnson (Barela); her son Michael Rosales; her brothers, Oliver Johnson II, Nestor Johnson and Julian Johnson; and her nephews, Paul Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Duran of Antonito, CO; her children, Dolores Laliberte (Matt) of South Dakota, Beverly Chacon (Rick) of Antonito, CO, Liz Ruybal (Daniel) of Denver, CO and Paul Duran of Antonito, CO; her grandchildren, Daniel Gurule, Dwayne Gurule, Jack Tallman, Joseph Chacon, Daniel Ruybal III, Raya Ruybal, DeAngelo Chacon, Rick Chacon Jr., Bre Laliberte, Trent Laliberte and Bryce Laliberte; her great grandchildren, Liam, Alyson, Ellie and Haley; and her siblings, Priscilla Mares, Mary Lou Salazar, Becky Hurtado, Gloria Burrola, Juby Johnson, Willie Johnson and Roger Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Romero Funeral Chapel (1407 State Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (6633 Co Rd 13, Antonito, CO 81120). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
