Wayne Sanford Farley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Sanford Farley (Alamosa, Colorado), who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Sanford Farley and Dovie Messinger Farley; the mother of his children Jacque Taylor Finney; his stepmother Ellen B. Farley; his grandson Devon J. Doyle; and his sister-in-law Lana Farley.

He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Beth Farley of Napa, CA and Dave Farley (Shannon) of Alamosa, CO; his stepdaughters, Bonnie Mercek (Richard) of Rio Rancho, NM and Leslie Doyle (Brian) of Alamosa, CO.; and his grandchildren, Chamisa Kellogg (Pat Farnach), Sierra Corriea (Bob), Lucia Kellogg, India Kellogg, Hannah Master (Phil), Sophia Valdez (Zach) and Ian Mercek.

Wishing to continue to be of help in the field of education, he chose to have his body donated to Anschutz Medical School in Denver.
