He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Mix and Ora Mix; and his brother Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Michelle and Roger (Rosalie); his nephew Tom Mix; and his brother Gary Mix. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Sherrill left this world due to complications of Parkinson's Lewy Body Dementia on January 7, 2021 at the Rio Grande Hospital.
