He is survived by: his children, Samantha Mascarenas of Alamosa, CO, Sandy Choman (Daniel) of Alamosa, CO, Sara Martinez-Gallegos (Chuy) of San Antonio, TX and Samson Mascarenas (Maria) of Del Norte, CO; his siblings, Dorothy Mascarenas of Taos, NM, Jimmy Mascarenas (Phyllis) of Alamosa, CO and Dennis Mascarenas of Taos, NM; and his former wife Pearl Ford of Alamosa, CO.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
