It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Benson (Alamosa, Colorado), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on September 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert A. Benson (Bob) and Margaret M. Benson (Marge); his stepgrandsons, Nick and Will; his sons, Nick Benson and Will Benson; his wife Sheri Keasler-Benson; his stepchildren, Sarah Rosenau and Jacob Smith; his grandchildren, Soren Benson, Austin Smith and Emerson Rosenau; his sisters, Margaret Gyulai (Peggy) and Mary Jane Benson (MJ); his children-in-law, Stephanie Benson, Sofia Pinho Benson and Travis Rosenau; his siblings-in-law, Chip Benson, Trace Keasler, Anna Tidwell and Julie Keasler; his niece Elsa Benson; and his nephews, Greg Gyulai, Thacher Benson and Laszlo Gyulai (Laci).
Memorial contributions may be made to the ASU Foundation Migrant STEAM Academy, a program near and dear to Rob's heart.
