We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2020, at the age of 71, Richard Martin of Alamosa, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Martin and Rosa Doughty Martin; his brother Harold Martin; and his nephew Dusty Claunch. He is survived by: his wife Angela M. Townsend; his daughter Hayley Hitchcock (Robert) of Littleton, CO; his granddaughter Dakota Hitchcock of Denver; and his siblings, Shirley Claunch (Bill) of Monte Vista, CO, Floyd Martin (Barbara) of Craig, CO and Ron Martin (Loretta) of Trinidad, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

“Angie, Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Words don't help much I know. I am grateful to have worked with Richard all those years. He was fun to be around. You might check his wallet, he may still have of the UPS bonus money, that he used for rodeos, stashed away that he never told you about. That was always fun watching him squirm when anyone said they were going to tell you about the bonus. I know he loved you though. May the Lord bless you and comfort you. Perry and Bev Shawcroft.”
