He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brownrigg and Emma Brownrigg (Jacobson); and his siblings, Margaret (Dixon) and Robert Brownrigg. He is survived by: his wife Vicki (Schinstock); his children, Richard L. Brownrigg, Jr. (Amber), Rhonda Bateman and Stephen Brownrigg (Joette); his stepchildren, Jami Lewis (Gordon) and Kimberley Temple (Beau); and his siblings, William Brownrigg and Mary Jane Rohner (Brownrigg). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kansas University School of Medicine, the Creede Repertory Theater in Creede, CO, or the St. Mary-Corwin Hospital Foundation in Pueblo, Colorado.
