Oliverio Rene Carmona Obituary
Alamosa resident Oliverio Rene Carmona, 25, passed away May 15, 2022 at the young age of 25. Oli, as he was known by family and friends was welcomed into the world on October 13, 1996 in Alamosa, Colorado, the beloved son of Oliverio Carmona and Angela DeHerrera. After graduating high school, he went on to work as an Asbestos Remover for Acumen Environmental Services. He was united in marriage to Alexandria Martinez on July 6, 2020. Though their union was sadly cut short, Oli and Alexandria shared a happy and loving union. On his free time, Oli enjoyed working on his project car, his Audi S4. He was a car enthusiast and was a member of a local car club, 'Hush Car Club'. He also loved being outdoors, playing video games, he was a fan of all sports, especially basketball. His greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with his son, family and friends. Oli, his wife Alexandria and son Oliverio had a saying they would always say to each other, "Happy vibes, happy vibes, for the rest of our lives.".
His spirit will live on through his wife Alexandria Carmona of Alamosa, CO; son Oliverio Carmona IV of Alamosa, CO; mother Angela (Guero) Loya of Alamosa, CO; father Oliverio (Tere) Carmona of Monte Vista, CO; sisters Yadia Lopez, Nayali Lopez, Amberly Romero, all of Alamosa, CO; Alexandra Carmona of Monte Vista, CO; Beverly (Randell) Trujillo) of San Luis, CO; step-brothers Josue Aguilera, Daniel Aguilera, Moises Aguilera, step-sister Erika Rueda; cousin Julius Trujillo of Alamosa, CO; brothers-in-laws Stephen Martinez, Daniel Martinez, and Isaiah Martinez both of San Luis, CO.
Oliverio was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Emily Sandoval, Aunt Marcella Dominguez.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Jesus Salva Church located at 5375 County Road 105 South in Alamosa. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery.
The care of arrangements has been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
