He was predeceased by: his father Paul "Bud" Smith; and his grandmother Hazel Nite. He is survived by: his mother Jeanine Smith; his siblings, Dan Maloy (Barbara), Jim Smith and Rachael Doyle (Richard); and his nephews, Gage Smith and Spencer Doyle.
