He was predeceased by: his parents, Timitia Lucero and Anita Lucero; his siblings, Lucille Ortega, Mary Arellano, Cordelia Tate and Tommy Lucero; and his sons, Jesse Lucero and Timothy Lucero.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Valdez; his children, Branden Lucero, Angie Hamil, Valorie Aguiniga (Rey), Yolanda Smith, Michelle Lucero, Crystal Lucero Alvarado and Sherry Lucero (Julio); and his siblings, Linda Avila (Ted), Judy Lucero, Ike Lucero (Josie), Michael Stefano (Angela), James Lucero (Elaine) and Manuel Lucero (Lupe). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
