She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Fran Mestas (Joe); her grandchildren, April, Matthew Mestas (Destiny) and Akela Mestas; her siblings, Lydia Corona (Luis), Linda Quintero, Lucy Garcia, Bernie Sanchez and Ronnie Sanchez; her birth mother Madeline Sanchez; her mother Delia Lara; her husband John Martinez; and her brothers, Rudy Sanchez and Gilbert Sanchez. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the Rogers Family Mortuary (205 State Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101). Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Alamosa Cemetery (2200 State Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101).
