She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Elizabeth Benatti; her brother Joe Smith; her son Douglas Cooper; and her great grandchild Kahlil Reed.
She is survived by: her spouse Oral Cooper; her children, Darrel Cooper (Vicki), Dinah Foy (Bill), Dennis Cooper (Karen), Dellia John and Dwight Cooper (Lavoya); and her daughter-in-law Dawnia Cooper. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Contributions in her memory are suggested to the Tri County Seniors for Meals on Wheels, the Alamosa First Christian Church or to the Alamosa Senior Citizens Center.
