He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Valdez and Rosa Valdez; his son Paul Anthony Valdez; and his grandson Chris Trujillo. He is survived by: his children, Gerri Trujillo (Vito) of Lakewood, CO, John Valdez (JoAnne) of Monte Vista, CO and Don Valdez (Jo) of Monte Vista; and his siblings, Alex Valdez, Beatrice Mansanarez, Eleanor Vigil (Ben) and Margie Martinez (Paul). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
