He is survived by: his wife Marie Ruth Basl-Patterson; his sons, John Patterson of Monte Vista and Mark Allen Patterson (Stacey) of Torrence, CA; his grandchildren, Jason Patterson (Jana) and Leah Hansen (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Piper, Arie and Bohdi. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.
