He is survived by: his parents, Joaquin Sr. and Esther; his daughter Angelina Nincehelser (Michael); his grandchildren, R. J., Brooklyn and Mikaela; and his siblings, Pablo Cantu (Jill), Ruth Aragon (Jeff), Rachel Cantu, Nathan Cantu, Connie Cantu, Lupe Lujan (Dave) and Liz Montoya (AL). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
