It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Marie Lopez of Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Mestas and Cordelia Maria Chavez Mestas. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Lopez of Alamosa; her children, Robert Lopez (Julie) of Alamosa, Anne Marie Lopez (Lenny) of Alamosa and John Lopez (Jodie) of Parker, CO; her grandchildren, Kristen Husmann, Tyler Lopez, Marisa Lopez, Emily Parker, Kenison and Makensie Kenison; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Husmann, Paisley Husmann, Alison Parker and Caden Parker; and her siblings, Arlene Mestas of Espanola, N. M., Judy Mestas (Denny Mercereau) of Alamosa, Frank Mestas (Patsy) of Alamosa and John Mestas (Vicky) of Manassa, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
