She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Hunter and Anna Hunter (Fellhauer); her husband Charles R. Speiser; her daughter Judith Dorman; and her brother Elmer Hunter.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Fleming (Jim) of Alamosa, Janet (Paul) and Koehe of Prescott, AZ. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two grand dogs, numerous great-grand and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
