He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Romero (Valdez); and his wife Karla Romero. He is survived by: his father Leroy Romero; his siblings, Cedric Romero (Maxine), Johnny Romero (Cheryl) and Miriam Barela (Nicholas); and his nieces and nephews, Jared Romero, Adrian Romero, Jamie Romero, Juanito Romero, Jonah Romero, Joshua Romero, Samantha Ortega (Giovanni) and Aaliyah Barela.
