He is survived by: his close friend Rocky Gallegos; his wife Teena Cross; and his siblings, Rebecca Carter of Lakewood, Jimmy Ruybal of Fruita and Millie DeHerrera of Westminster. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
