She was predeceased by: her son Charles Lynn Romero. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Frank "Boogie" Romero of Alamosa; her children, Frankie Joe "Poncho" Romero, Vickie Lee Ryblaid (Scott) of Colorado Springs and Lydia Ann Friese (Kurt); and her grandchildren, Sarah, Eric, Natasha and Ryan. She is also survived by two great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund and may be made in care of the funeral home office.
