It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Terpstra of Alamosa, Colorado, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Westenburg and Jeannette Bylsma Westenburg; her grandchildren, Billey Albert and Tracy Rinebarger; her brothers, William James Westenburg, Keith Louis Westenburg and Charles Edward Westenburg; and her sons-in-law, Mark Langstraat and Tom Rusk.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard John Terpstra; her children, Marie Rusk of Colorado Springs, CO, Don Terpstra (Barb) of Alamosa, CO, Pat Rinebarger (Ron) of Monte Vista, CO, Leona Martinez (Ken Bray) of New Mexico, Gloria Sanchez (Clarence) of Alamosa, Betty Cochran (Jack) of Monte Vista, CO, Madelyn Langstraat of Lynden, WA, Richard Terpstra of Superior, CO and Kenneth Terpstra (De Ann) of Highlands Ranch, CO; and her sister Mary Lou Hof of Escalon, CA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
