It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celestino Ernesto Romero (Alamosa, Colorado), who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fares I. Romero and Beroniz Salazar-Romero; his children, Rhonda Lynn Romero and Darren Ray Romero; and his siblings, Delfina Romero (Benancio), Viola Lobato (Tony), Ruth Ruybal (Alfonso), Martha Martinez (Donel), Medward Romero (Celina), Eusebio Romero (Frieda) and Frank Romero.

He is survived by: his wife Liselotte "Lottie" Romero of Antonito, CO; his children, Donna Romero (Nick) of Scottsdale, AZ, Rhoda Sisneros (John) of Alamosa, CO, Jennifer Capra (Nicola) of Alamosa, CO, Duane Romero (Vicki) of Northglenn, CO, Gary Romero (Valerie) of Antonito, CO, Randy Romero (Miguel) of Aurora, CO and Todd Romero of Aurora, CO; his grandchildren, Roman, Janice (Kevin), Ryan, Joshua (Kendra), Matthew, Kelsey (Adam), Dain, Kaeli, Todd Jr., Ashley, Camry (Ross), Drake (Nicole), Darin (Christine) and Carmen; and his sister-in-law Philomena Romero of Antonito. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
