He is survived by: his children, Brenda "Becky" Lucero (Emery) of Colorado Springs, CO, Nicholas Mondragon (Brenda) of Antonito, CO, Jesse Mondragon (Robert) of Antonito, CO, Patricia Gurule of Romeo, CO, Gerald Lobato (Rita) of Antonito, CO, Gabriel Lobato (Barbara) of Denver, CO, Donna Mendoza of Alamosa, CO, Don Mendoza (Andrea) of Alamosa, CO, Mary Lopez (Carlos) of Alamosa, CO, Naomi Mendoza of Denver, CO and Amanda Mendoza of Alamosa, CO; and his sister Alice Golden of California. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
