He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Valdez and Guadalupe Rivera Valdez; his wife Cecilia Valdez; and his son Eric Valdez. He is survived by: his children, Anita Valdez (Terry Stickney) of Bothell, WA, Mishelle Barraras (Miguel) of Espanola, NM, Mark Valdez of La Jara, CO, Roman Valdez (Janet) of La Jara, CO and Paul Valdez (Charlene) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
