He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Vera and Merle Richard; his stepmother Vesta Gray; his siblings, Ronald Gray, Darrell Gray and Donna Merle Gray; and his stepsiblings, Jimmy Burke, Harold Burke, Gene Burke and Velma Drum.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughters, Dawn Valko (Mark) of Wray, CO and Dee Gonzales (Mark) of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Coleman Griffith (Corinne) of Lander, WY, Kevin Valko (Michelle) of Box Elder, SD, Caitlin Honner (Matt) of Pueblo, CO, Jaden Valko (Shauna) of Julesburg, CO and Alyssa Kuhn (Travis) of Wray, CO; his great grandchildren, Alice and Maddox Valko; his grandchildren, Jayla, Creighton, Kya Kuhn and Beretta Honner; and his siblings, Rita Elmore of Centennial, CO, Reva Runyan of Casa Grande, AZ and Richard Gray (Jackie) of Peyton, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
