She was predeceased by: her son Larry (Bonnie) of Boulder City, Nevada; her parents, William Dorwan and Elsie Violet Grooms (Stewart); her husband Harold Sr.; her brothers, George Grooms and Leonard Grooms; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Grooms and Eileen Grooms.
She is survived by: her son Harold Jr. (Cheryl) of Akron; her grandsons, Dean of Phoenix, AZ, Tim (Tana) of Danville, PA, Tom (Michelle) of Thornton, CO, Bud of Irvine, CA and Mark (Kelli) of Brush, CO; and her sister Doris Duncan (Jack) of Akron. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to Akron High School Scholarship Fund, or to the Akron United Methodist Church.
