He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ace and Phoebe Bowland; his son Mark W. Bowland; and his brothers, Norval "Tex" Bowland, Lloyd Bowland and Lyle Bowland.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Larry LeCroy (Jamie), Vickie Anderson (Bob), Paula Reynolds (Bruce), Karen Bowland, Traci Walter (Steve) and Jody Gilloth; his stepson Mike Miller (Terri); his adoptive daughter Shirley Harris; and his siblings, Marie Cannady, Margie Stone, Ellen Kraich (Delbert) and Ken Bowland (JoAnn). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Plains.
