She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chesley and Elmo Droz Trahern; her husband Bill; her son-in-law Kim Kessinger; and her grandson Kasey Kessinger.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Brown (Wayne) of Gunnison, Lila Kessinger of Sterling, Bill Elrick Jr. (Cathy) of Somerset and Bob Elrick (Deb) of Fort Morgan; her sister Pat Jensen (Tom) of Flagler; and her siblings-in-law, June Trahern of Sterling and Don Elrick (Janice) of Watkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Because of her many years of service and devotion to the Akron United Methodist Church, memorial contributions can be made to the church or to the Akron Senior Center.
