He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Florian Basler and Icle Leaura Cross; and his wife Mary Ann Charlene Hottinger. He is survived by: his children, Janice, Danny, Mary Lee Foster (Donny), Susan Basler, Ed Basler (Leslie), Pat Basler (Tracy), Carol Slusser (Rob), Bryan Tappy, Dan Basler (Laura) and Alan Basler (Shantil).
