He was predeceased by: his father Norman Schutz (Patsy Schutz). He is survived by: his mother Jean Schutz (Pearson) of Benkelman, NE; his close friend Gina Schoenecker of Akron, CO; his children, Jennifer Sue Miller (Eric) of Greeley, CO and Jakob Schutz (Jennifer) of Sterling, CO; his grandchildren, Nikoli, Lucas, Soren Schutz and Madison Miller; his siblings, Kathy Aerni (Mel) of Madrid, NE, Jan Illian (Doug) of Denver, CO, Becky Shultz and Tom Schutz of Benkelman, NE; and also, Gemma, Nora, Easton and Solon. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Town of Akron to benefit beautification of the Akron pond (Dave was so excited for the new pond to get filled up).
