We bid farewell to Ann L. Thornton of Akron, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 20, 2024 at the age of 84. Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Westberg and Elsa Westberg of Chicago, Illinois.; her siblings, Karen Leigh and Harold Westberg; and her grandchildren, John, Tad, Todd Thornton, Jessica Owens and Katie Thornton.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thornton; her children, Jeff Thornton (Tammy), Kurt Thornton (Jeri Lynn), Joan Owens (Randy), Kirsten Stahn (Jason), Fred Thornton (Alicia) and Raymond Thornton (Kim); and her siblings, Barbara Johnson and David Westberg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
