He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rex Scholes and Barbara Scholes (Thompson); his stepparents, Dan Potter and Beulah Scholes; his son Andy; his brothers, Billy and Donny Potter; and his son-in-law Dustin Daily.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kodi Scholes, Kaci, Emily, Abby and Rachel; his grandchildren, Katie, Karson, Hagen, Kyli, Matthew, Tyslee, Kingston, Coy and Tyler; and his sister Leslie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (551 W 6th St, Akron, CO 80720).
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Town of Akron to be used towards future cemetery projects.
