He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin R. Hayes and Mary Belle Hayes; his brother Lawrence Elmer Hayes; and his nephew Robert David Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Helen Refshauge; his great grandchildren, Karen Ragsdale (John) of Westminster, CO, Jim Hayes (Connie) of Palm City, FL, Bill Hayes (Stacy) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Janet McCall (Bill) of Lone Tree, CO; his grandchildren, Ashley, Erin, Lindsay Ragsdale, Amy, Michael, Eric Hayes, Katie Huey (Zach), Lauren Roybal (Mike), Austin Hayes, Steve Hayes (Taylor) and Summer Hayes (Zach Tanner); his great grandchildren, Rylie, Parker Roybal and Roy Tanner; and his nieces, Judy and Kathleen Hayes. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
