He was predeceased by: his mother Maria of Jesus Saldana; his wife Pauline Perez Gonzalez; his daughter Debra "Debbie" Lupe Saldana; and his siblings, Maria, Margarita, Genaro and Roberto.

He is survived by: his father Bernardo Gonzalez; his son Samuel "Sammy" Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Kady, Jesse, Jason, Eric, Ayleen, Jess, Esther and Kimberly; his great grandchild Rayleigh Jean; and his children-in-law, Raul and Connie.
