Merle Jean Antinucci Obituary
On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, Merle Jean Antinucci, wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by family in her home in Yucaipa, CA. Merle will be forever remembered by her husband of 65 years, Lester and their children, Timothy (Yvonne), Thomas (Debra), Anthony (Railene), and Teresa. Merle will also be lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren, Steven, Miranda, Troy, Trent, Melanie, Ty, Aubrie, Jenna, Matthew, David, Andrew, Jeremy, Cody, and William, by her siblings, Bonnie, Judy, Thomas (Simone), and Janet (David), 29 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Merle was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jesse and Jennie Butcher.
Born on October 2, 1936 in San Bernardino, CA, Merle met her beloved husband, Lester, at Pacific High School in San Bernardino where she graduated. Merle was a resident of Yucaipa, CA for more than 50 years and was extremely active in her church. She devoted her life to caring for her children and encouraging her husband in the family business.
A Funeral Service in memory of Merle will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12776 6th Street, Yucaipa. The family will greet friends beginning at 8 a.m. for visitation and viewing. Graveside services will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA.
