He was predeceased by: his wife Rada Hopkins; his grandson Jeff Skyberg; his parents, Pauline Hopkins and George Hopkins; and his sisters, Paula Nelson and Ethelda Basham.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda, Randy and Susan; his sister Judy Grilli (Carl) of Morro Bay; and his grandchildren, Christopher Hopkins, Brandy Green (Vanessa Green), Jillian (Skyberg), Ramos (Jose Ramos), Shaleena (Hopkins), Brewster (Josh Brewster) and Brian Skyberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and several dear friends.
