He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy Pauline (Sarge) and Ken Ng (Nancy); and his father John Sippy Ng. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alex, Max, Elisabeth, Wiley and Sullivan; his mother Lola Chun Ng; his wife Christa; his children, Katie Alberts (Jeff), Meghan Nyback (Josh), John and Molly; his sisters, Kathy Watrous (Keith) and Jennifer D'Atri (John); and his niece Courtney Shaikh (Asif).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Boy Scout Troop 44 in Redlands, California.
