He was predeceased by: his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Betty "Betts"; and his children, Liz Tatman, Christy LaRue, Rick Kingma, Lori Wade and Peter Kingma.

Due to the circumstances of COVID 19, a celebration of life will be held in early June 2021.
