She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Bowersox; and her son Stanley Cox. She is survived by: her son Rodney Cox (Diane) of Yuba City, CA; her daughter-in-law Linda Cox of Yuba City, CA; and her grandchildren, Angie Miles of Sutter, CA, Billy Howell of Sacramento, CA, Tracy Cox of San Jose, CA, Jonathan Cox of Chico, CA, Richard Cox of Yuba City, CA and Tammy Cox of Austin, TX. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Vala would love for donations to be made to the first Baptist Church of Yuba City in her name.
