He was predeceased by: his parents, Sardar Banta Singh and Sardarni Swaran Kaur; and his son Davinder S. Baraich. He is survived by: his wife Manjit Kaur Baraich; and his children, Satpal S. Baraich, Harvinder S. Baraich, Balvinder K. Mahal and Harpal Kaur. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
