We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2021, at the age of 73, Norma Medina Varela (Yuba City, California), born in Delano, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ellgio S. Medina and Herminia Miranda Medina; her son Michael A. Varela; her former spouse Maria Belen Covarrubias; her husband Moses R. Varela; and her grandchildren, Michael Alexander, Marie Bethany and Natalie Olivia.
Most notably, she volunteered for H.O.P.E. (Cancer Ministry for the Apostolic Assembly), Sutter Library Literacy Program, Rideout Hospice, and the American Cancer Society.
