He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Kitchen and Dot Kitchen; his wife Ellen; his brother Warren; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Kitchen and Vivian Kitchen.
He is survived by: his sons, Stuart Kitchen (Angela) of Yuba City and Ross Kitchen (Jill) of Roseville; his grandchildren, Audrey Clayton (Jacob), Emily Kitchen, Matthew Kitchen and Garrett Kitchen; and his nieces, Anne Enright (Jack) of Concord and Susan Mazanek (Len) of Chicago.
