He was predeceased by: his wife Nora Gildemeister; and his son Michael Gildemeister. He is survived by: his significant other Nora Thoroughman; his children, Allan Gildemeister (June) and Laura Drew; his daughter-in-law Christy Gildemeister; and his grandchildren, Michelle Ramon (Jorge), Patrick Drew (Shalanena), Justin Gildemeister (Stephanie), Hannah Keeton-Gildemeister (Katie), Matthew Drew and Branden Gildemeister (Sara). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
