He was predeceased by: his sister Clara Garza of Arlington, Texas; his wife Belinda I. Gonzales; his parents, Eleanor Sanchez and Juan Diego Gonzales; and his grandson Anthony "Peewee" Gonzales.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Guitron, Margie Villegas, Roxanne Mendez, Esedoro Gonzales Jr. of Yuba-Sutter, Rudy Gonzales Sr. of Yuba-Sutter and Robert Gonzales Sr. of Yuba-Sutter. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren.
