He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Empey and Vera Empey; his stepmother Emily Empey; and his son Danny. He is survived by: his wife Kay; and his children, Lynn Brown (Scott), Jay Empey (Vicki), Lisa Hall (Wes), Allison Kelly (Ron) and Ty Empey (Nancy). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
